I'm a writer and illustrator from Los Angeles, living on the Big Island of Hawai’i. My stories explore imaginative play, creativity, and the blending of fantasy and reality.
As a child, I loved to draw and and find tiny things; two things I still love doing. In art school I studied painting, photography, video, sculpture, performance art, and creative writing.
In 2013, I moved to Hawaii and began my journey as a writer and illustrator of picture books. My biggest source of inspiration are my daughter's funny questions and observations.
